What Customers Review on their Makita BHP452HW?

One of the best portable power tools that I have purchased. I required a small hammer drill with enough power to drive cement screws into a well seasoned fireplace from the inside of the chimney. Not only did this Drill perform well inside this small space it performed better than my other more industrial size hammer drill. Secondly, the lithium-Ion batteries hold a charge forever. Very Impressive – highly recommended.

I have to say I’ve never had a drill that’s even close to the quality of this drill. I had another Makita, that lasted over 10 years and it was a 9 volt. So far I’m loving it, I don’t know if it would be as good if used professionally. Power isn’t a problem! The batteries drain, but it does take a while and if you’re charging the second battery you shouldn’t have a problem. It’s probably, (definitely) more drill that I need, but I have no regrets, great drill!!!

A great tool. If you are adding this to existing Makita tools be aware that the batteries for this tool are their ultralight version of their 18 Volt Lithium Ion series and they will not work in any tool that is not designated as “compact”. The tool is very light and well balanced as well as powerful. The charger works for both the “compact” and regular 18 Volt Lithium Ion Batteries which is a plus in that it allows flexibility if you own tools from both series. Highly recommended!

From the first time I saw Makita BHP452HW on the shop, I fall in love ever since. It’s kinda rare finding a black-and-white power tools like Makita BHP452HW.

It’s compact tool that deliver much more power and torque compare with other product in its class. And you have a hammer-drill and a driver in one piece of tool. How cool is it? And the grip very very comfy.

    I’m a proud owner of Makita BHP452HW.

I did a lot of research before buying my first Makita. For me it’s a strange brand compare with other familiar brands here but I give it a shot after my older 9 Volt drill died.

I was surprised that it’s much lighter and easier to handle than my older drill. Wow! The batteries charge up very fast and they hold a charge for month when I store it. I liked the rubberized grip and the large chuck grips. Easy to use with heavy gloves as I always wearing a heavy duty gloves. It sits up nicely on my work bench, too.

This drill is nicely balanced, and it has a flat clip that slips over your standard belt. It’s hard working from a ladder or installing things by yourself, so get the best tools for the job. I found the best in 12 Volt cordless drill is this Makita BHP452HW. Highly recommended.
