What Customers Review on their Makita BHP452HW?
One of the best portable power tools that I have purchased. I required a small hammer drill with enough power to drive cement screws into a well seasoned fireplace from the inside of the chimney. Not only did this Drill perform well inside this small space it performed better than my other more industrial size hammer drill. Secondly, the lithium-Ion batteries hold a charge forever. Very Impressive – highly recommended.
I have to say I’ve never had a drill that’s even close to the quality of this drill. I had another Makita, that lasted over 10 years and it was a 9 volt. So far I’m loving it, I don’t know if it would be as good if used professionally. Power isn’t a problem! The batteries drain, but it does take a while and if you’re charging the second battery you shouldn’t have a problem. It’s probably, (definitely) more drill that I need, but I have no regrets, great drill!!!
A great tool. If you are adding this to existing Makita tools be aware that the batteries for this tool are their ultralight version of their 18 Volt Lithium Ion series and they will not work in any tool that is not designated as “compact”. The tool is very light and well balanced as well as powerful. The charger works for both the “compact” and regular 18 Volt Lithium Ion Batteries which is a plus in that it allows flexibility if you own tools from both series. Highly recommended!
Though most customer reviews are high, I encourage you to read all the reviews on Amazon for this amazing Makita BHP452HW Cordless Drill.
